महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-107, verse-20

परदारा न गन्तव्याः सर्ववर्णेषु कर्हिचित् ।
न हीदृशमनायुष्यं लोके किंचन विद्यते ।
यादृशं पुरुषस्येह परदारोपसेवनम् ॥२०॥
20. paradārā na gantavyāḥ sarvavarṇeṣu karhicit ,
na hīdṛśamanāyuṣyaṁ loke kiṁcana vidyate ,
yādṛśaṁ puruṣasyeha paradāropasevanam.

20. The wives of others should never be approached, regardless of social class. For indeed, there is nothing in this world that shortens life as much as a man's sexual intercourse with another's wife.
