महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-107, verse-67

मातापितरमुत्थाय पूर्वमेवाभिवादयेत् ।
आचार्यमथ वाप्येनं तथायुर्विन्दते महत् ॥६७॥
67. mātāpitaramutthāya pūrvamevābhivādayet ,
ācāryamatha vāpyenaṁ tathāyurvindate mahat.
67. mātāpitaram utthāya pūrvam eva abhivādayet
ācāryam atha vā api enam tathā āyuḥ vindate mahat

67. Having risen, one should first and foremost greet one's mother and father. Or, one should similarly greet one's preceptor (ācārya), and thereby attain a long life.
