महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-107, verse-36

न पाणिभ्यामुभाभ्यां च कण्डूयेज्जातु वै शिरः ।
न चाभीक्ष्णं शिरः स्नायात्तथास्यायुर्न रिष्यते ॥३६॥

36. One should never scratch the head with both hands. Nor should one frequently bathe the head, for then one's lifespan will not be diminished.
