महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-107, verse-124

वृद्धां प्रव्रजितां चैव तथैव च पतिव्रताम् ।
तथातिकृष्णवर्णां च वर्णोत्कृष्टां च वर्जयेत् ॥१२४॥
124. vṛddhāṁ pravrajitāṁ caiva tathaiva ca pativratām ,
tathātikṛṣṇavarṇāṁ ca varṇotkṛṣṭāṁ ca varjayet.

124. One should avoid an aged woman, and indeed, a renunciate woman; similarly, one should also avoid a woman devoted to another husband. Furthermore, one should shun a woman of excessively dark complexion and a woman belonging to a higher social class (varṇa).
