महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-107, verse-136

न चैकेन परिव्राज्यं न गन्तव्यं तथा निशि ।
अनागतायां संध्यायां पश्चिमायां गृहे वसेत् ॥१३६॥

136. One should not wander (parivrājya) alone, nor should one travel at night. One should remain in one's home when the western twilight (sandhyā) has not yet arrived.
