मध्यंदिने निशाकाले मध्यरात्रे च सर्वदा ।
चतुष्पथान्न सेवेत उभे संध्ये तथैव च ॥५२॥

catuṣpathānna seveta ubhe saṁdhye tathaiva ca.

52. One should never frequent crossroads at midday, during the night, or at midnight. Similarly, one should avoid them at both twilight periods (dawn and dusk).
