महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-107, verse-147

आगमानां हि सर्वेषामाचारः श्रेष्ठ उच्यते ।
आचारप्रभवो धर्मो धर्मादायुर्विवर्धते ॥१४७॥
147. āgamānāṁ hi sarveṣāmācāraḥ śreṣṭha ucyate ,
ācāraprabhavo dharmo dharmādāyurvivardhate.

147. Indeed, among all traditions, good conduct is declared to be the best. The natural law (dharma) originates from good conduct, and from this natural law (dharma), longevity greatly increases.
