महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-55, verse-67

एकाह्ना हि रणे भीष्मो नाशयेद्देवदानवान् ।
किमु पाण्डुसुतान्युद्धे सबलान्सपदानुगान् ॥६७॥
67. ekāhnā hi raṇe bhīṣmo nāśayeddevadānavān ,
kimu pāṇḍusutānyuddhe sabalānsapadānugān.

67. Indeed, Bhīṣma could destroy even the gods and demons in a single day (ekāhna) of battle; how much more so then the Pāṇḍava's sons in this war, along with their forces and their followers?
