महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-55, verse-24

उदीच्यां चैनमालोक्य दक्षिणस्यां पुनः प्रभो ।
एवं स समरे वीरो गाङ्गेयः प्रत्यदृश्यत ॥२४॥
24. udīcyāṁ cainamālokya dakṣiṇasyāṁ punaḥ prabho ,
evaṁ sa samare vīro gāṅgeyaḥ pratyadṛśyata.
24. udīcyām ca enam ālokya dakṣiṇasyām punaḥ prabho
evam saḥ samare vīraḥ gāṅgeyaḥ prati adṛśyata
24. ca प्रभो,
enam udīcyām ālokya punaḥ dakṣiṇasyām (dadṛśuḥ) evam saḥ vīraḥ gāṅgeyaḥ samare pratyadṛśyata
24. And, O Lord, having seen him in the northern direction, they would again see him in the southern. In this manner, that hero, the son of Gaṅgā, was perceived in battle.
