महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-55, verse-109

ततः शुभामापततीं स शक्तिं विद्युत्प्रभां शांतनवेन मुक्ताम् ।
गदां च मद्राधिपबाहुमुक्तां द्वाभ्यां शराभ्यां निचकर्त वीरः ॥१०९॥
109. tataḥ śubhāmāpatatīṁ sa śaktiṁ; vidyutprabhāṁ śāṁtanavena muktām ,
gadāṁ ca madrādhipabāhumuktāṁ; dvābhyāṁ śarābhyāṁ nicakarta vīraḥ.

109. Then, with two arrows, the hero (Arjuna) severed the excellent, lightning-gleaming missile (śakti) that was hurled by Bhishma (Śāntanava), and also the mace that was discharged from the arm of the King of Madras.
