महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-55, verse-59

तथापि भीष्मः सुदृढं वासुदेवधनंजयौ ।
विव्याध निशितैर्बाणैः सर्वगात्रेषु मारिष ॥५९॥
59. tathāpi bhīṣmaḥ sudṛḍhaṁ vāsudevadhanaṁjayau ,
vivyādha niśitairbāṇaiḥ sarvagātreṣu māriṣa.

59. Nevertheless, O respected one (māriṣa), Bhishma firmly pierced both Vāsudeva (Krishna) and Dhanañjaya (Arjuna) in all their limbs with sharp arrows.
