वैश्वानरं यथा दीप्तं दह्यन्ते प्राप्य वै जनाः ।
कर्णाग्निना रणे तद्वद्दग्धा भारत सृञ्जयाः ॥६१॥

61. vaiśvānaraṁ yathā dīptaṁ dahyante prāpya vai janāḥ ,
karṇāgninā raṇe tadvaddagdhā bhārata sṛñjayāḥ.

61. O Bharata, just as people are indeed consumed by a blazing fire (vaiśvānara) upon approaching it, similarly, the Srinjayas were consumed by the fire of Karna (karṇāgni) in battle.
