महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-40, verse-19

पराक्रमं तु तं दृष्ट्वा तव सूनोर्महारथाः ।
मृत्योरुपान्तिकं प्राप्तौ माद्रीपुत्रौ स्म मेनिरे ॥१९॥
19. parākramaṁ tu taṁ dṛṣṭvā tava sūnormahārathāḥ ,
mṛtyorupāntikaṁ prāptau mādrīputrau sma menire.

mṛtyoḥ upāntikaṃ prāptau mādrīputrau sma menire
19. tu tava sūnoḥ taṃ parākramaṃ dṛṣṭvā,

19. But having seen that prowess of your son (Abhimanyu), the great charioteers believed the two sons of Madri (Mādrīputrau) had come to the very doorstep of death.
