ततः क्रुद्धोऽब्रवीत्कृष्णः पार्थं सप्रणयं तदा ।
अत्यद्भुतमिदं पार्थ तव पश्यामि संयुगे ।
अतिशेते हि यत्र त्वा द्रोणपुत्रोऽद्य भारत ॥१२३॥

123. tataḥ kruddho'bravītkṛṣṇaḥ pārthaṁ sapraṇayaṁ tadā ,
atyadbhutamidaṁ pārtha tava paśyāmi saṁyuge ,
atiśete hi yatra tvā droṇaputro'dya bhārata.

123. Then, Krishna, angered, spoke affectionately to Arjuna (Pārtha) at that time: "O Pārtha, this is very astonishing that I see in your combat today, O Bhārata, where Droṇa's son indeed surpasses you."
