महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-40, verse-104

अस्यास्यतोऽर्धचन्द्राभ्यां स बाहू परिघोपमौ ।
पूर्णचन्द्राभवक्त्रं च क्षुरेणाभ्यहनच्छिरः ॥१०४॥
104. asyāsyato'rdhacandrābhyāṁ sa bāhū parighopamau ,
pūrṇacandrābhavaktraṁ ca kṣureṇābhyahanacchiraḥ.
104. asya āsyataḥ ardhacandrābhyām sa bāhū parighopamau
pūrṇacandrābhavaktram ca kṣureṇa abhyahanat śiraḥ
104. saḥ asya āsyataḥ parighopamau bāhū ardhacandrābhyām
ca pūrṇacandrābhavaktram śiraḥ kṣureṇa abhyahanat
104. With two crescent-shaped arrows, he (Arjuna) struck the two mace-like arms of his (opponent) who was shooting. And with a razor-sharp arrow (kṣura), he struck his (opponent's) head, whose face shone like a full moon.
