महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-61, verse-7

सा बहून्भीमरूपांश्च पिशाचोरगराक्षसान् ।
पल्वलानि तडागानि गिरिकूटानि सर्वशः ।
सरितः सागरांश्चैव ददर्शाद्भुतदर्शनान् ॥७॥
7. sā bahūnbhīmarūpāṁśca piśācoragarākṣasān ,
palvalāni taḍāgāni girikūṭāni sarvaśaḥ ,
saritaḥ sāgarāṁścaiva dadarśādbhutadarśanān.

7. She (Damayantī) saw many terrifying-looking fiends, serpents, and rākṣasas (demons). Everywhere she also saw pools, ponds, mountain peaks, rivers, and oceans of astonishing appearance.
