महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-61, verse-22

कृशां दीनां विवर्णां च मलिनां वसुधाधिप ।
वस्त्रार्धप्रावृतामेकां विलपन्तीमनाथवत् ॥२२॥
22. kṛśāṁ dīnāṁ vivarṇāṁ ca malināṁ vasudhādhipa ,
vastrārdhaprāvṛtāmekāṁ vilapantīmanāthavat.
22. kṛśām dīnām vivarṇām ca malinām vasudhādhipa |
vastraardhaprāvṛtām ekām vilapantīm anāthavat
22. O lord of the earth (vasudhādhipa), (you see) me, emaciated, miserable, pale, and soiled, half-covered with clothes, alone and wailing like an orphan.
