मनु-स्मृतिः       manu-smṛtiḥ - chapter-5, verse-84

न वर्धयेदघाहानि प्रत्यूहेन्नाग्निषु क्रियाः ।
न च तत्कर्म कुर्वाणः सनाभ्योऽप्यशुचिर्भवेत ॥८४॥
84. na vardhayedaghāhāni pratyūhennāgniṣu kriyāḥ ,
na ca tatkarma kurvāṇaḥ sanābhyo'pyaśucirbhavet.

84. One should not extend inauspicious days, nor obstruct rites in fires. And one performing that ritual should not become impure, even from relatives.
