प्रवृत्तिरेषा भूतानां निवृत्तिस्तु महाफला ॥५६॥

eṣā bhūtānāṃ pravṛttiḥ māṃsabhakṣaṇe doṣaḥ na asti,
madye na asti,
maithune ca na asti tu nivṛttiḥ mahāphalā

There is no fault in eating meat, nor in drinking alcohol, nor in sexual intercourse. This is the natural tendency of beings; restraint from these brings great reward.
