जन्मन्येकौदकानां तु त्रिरात्रात्शुद्धिरिष्यते ॥७१॥

janmani ekodakānām tu trirātrāt śuddhiḥ iṣyate

For one who was a fellow student of the deceased, purity is attained after one day, after the expiration of one day. But for those who offer one-year oblations (ekodaka), purification is desired after three days.
