महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-192, verse-55

ददस्वेति त्वया चोक्तं ददामीति तथा मया ।
न वाचं दूषयिष्यामि सत्यं रक्ष स्थिरो भव ॥५५॥

55. dadasveti tvayā coktaṁ dadāmīti tathā mayā ,
na vācaṁ dūṣayiṣyāmi satyaṁ rakṣa sthiro bhava.

55. dadasva iti tvayā ca uktam dadāmi iti tathā mayā
na vācam dūṣayiṣyāmi satyam rakṣa sthiraḥ bhava

55. tvayā dadasva iti uktam ca mayā tathā dadāmi iti

55. "Give!"—this was said by you, and "I give!"—this was said by me. I will not corrupt my word. Protect the truth, and be steadfast.
