भीष्म उवाच ।
अत्राप्युदाहरन्तीममितिहासं पुरातनम् ।

2. Bhīṣma said: "In this regard, they also narrate this ancient history (itihāsa), what happened concerning Ikṣvāku, son of Sūrya, and a certain Brahmin (brāhmaṇa)."
