महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-192, verse-18

समाप्ते नियमे तस्मिन्नथ विप्रस्य धीमतः ।
साक्षात्प्रीतस्तदा धर्मो दर्शयामास तं द्विजम् ॥१८॥
18. samāpte niyame tasminnatha viprasya dhīmataḥ ,
sākṣātprītastadā dharmo darśayāmāsa taṁ dvijam.

sākṣāt prītaḥ tadā dharmaḥ darśayāmāsa tam dvijam
18. atha tasmin dhīmataḥ viprasya niyame samāpte tadā
prītaḥ dharmaḥ sākṣāt tam dvijam darśayāmāsa
18. When that wise Brahmin's spiritual observance (niyama) was completed, then Dharma (dharma) himself, being pleased, revealed himself to that twice-born (dvija).
