महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-192, verse-118

प्रयाति संहिताध्यायी ब्रह्माणं परमेष्ठिनम् ।
अथ वाग्निं समायाति सूर्यमाविशतेऽपि वा ॥११८॥
118. prayāti saṁhitādhyāyī brahmāṇaṁ parameṣṭhinam ,
atha vāgniṁ samāyāti sūryamāviśate'pi vā.

118. A reciter who studies the Saṃhitā (Vedic text) goes to Brahmā (brahman), the Supreme Being (parameṣṭhin). Or else, he attains the fire god, or even enters the sun.
