भीष्म उवाच ।
इत्युक्तः स तदा देव्या विप्रः प्रोवाच धर्मवित् ।
जप्यं प्रति ममेच्छेयं वर्धत्विति पुनः पुनः ॥१२॥

12. Bhishma said: "Thus addressed by the goddess, that Brahmin, who knew natural law (dharma), then spoke: 'May this desire of mine concerning recitation (japa) ever increase again and again.'"
