फलप्राप्तिं न जानामि दत्तं यज्जपितं मया ।
अयं धर्मश्च कालश्च यमो मृत्युश्च साक्षिणः ॥५१॥

The Brahmin said, "I do not know the full attainment of the result of what I have given and recited. This natural law (dharma), Time, Yama, and Death are (my) witnesses."
