वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-55, verse-93

स ददर्श महात्मानं किरीटिनमरिंदमम् ।
शोणिताप्लुतसर्वाङ्गं कुम्भकर्णं महाबलम् ॥९३॥
93. sa dadarśa mahātmānaṃ kirīṭinamariṃdamam ,
śoṇitāplutasarvāṅgaṃ kumbhakarṇaṃ mahābalam.
