तं छिन्नबाहुं समवेक्ष्य रामः समापतन्तं सहसा नदन्तम् ।
द्वावर्धचन्द्रौ निशितौ प्रगृह्य चिच्छेद पादौ युधि राक्षसस्य ॥११७॥
117. taṃ chinnabāhuṃ samavekṣya rāmaḥ samāpatantaṃ sahasā nadantam ,
dvāvardhacandrau niśitau pragṛhya ciccheda pādau yudhi rākṣasasya.

117. Having seen that demon (rākṣasa), whose arm was severed, roaring and rushing towards him suddenly, Rāma, seizing two sharp half-moon arrows, cut off his feet in battle.
