वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-55, verse-10

ततो हरीणां तदनीकमुग्रं दुद्राव शूलं निशितं प्रगृह्य ।
तस्थौ ततो ऽस्यापततः पुरस्तान्महीधराग्रं हनुमान्प्रगृह्य ॥१०॥
10. tato harīṇāṃ tadanīkamugraṃ dudrāva śūlaṃ niśitaṃ pragṛhya ,
tasthau tato'syāpatataḥ purastānmahīdharāgraṃ hanumānpragṛhya.
10. tataḥ harīṇām tat anīkam ugram
dudrāva śūlam niśitam pragṛhya |
tasthau tataḥ asya āpatataḥ purastāt
mahīdhara-agram hanūmān pragṛhya
10. tataḥ pragṛhya niśitam śūlam tat
ugram harīṇām anīkam dudrāva
tataḥ hanūmān mahīdhara-agram pragṛhya
asya āpatataḥ purastāt tasthau
10. Then, taking up his sharp spear, he (Kumbhakarna) rushed upon that fierce army of monkeys. And then, Hanuman, seizing a mountain peak, stood before him as he (Kumbhakarna) attacked.
