स कुम्भकर्णस्य वचो निशम्य रामः सुपुङ्खान् विससर्ज बाणान् ।
तैराहतो वज्रसमप्रवेगैर्न चुक्षुभे न व्यथते सुरारिः ॥१०७॥
107. sa kumbhakarṇasya vaco niśamya rāmaḥ supuṅkhān visasarja bāṇān ,
tairāhato vajrasamapravegairna cukṣubhe na vyathate surāriḥ.

107. Having heard the words of Kumbhakarṇa, Rāma released well-feathered arrows. Struck by those arrows, which had the speed of a thunderbolt, the enemy of the gods (Kumbhakarṇa) was neither disturbed nor did he feel pain.
