वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-55, verse-80

तस्योरसि निमग्नाश्च शरा बर्हिणवाससः ।
हस्ताच्चास्य परिभ्रष्टा पपातोर्व्यां महागदा ॥८०॥
80. tasyorasi nimagnāśca śarā barhiṇavāsasaḥ ,
hastāccāsya paribhraṣṭā papātorvyāṃ mahāgadā.
80. tasya urasi nimagnāḥ ca śarāḥ barhiṇavāsasaḥ
hastāt ca asya paribhraṣṭā papāta urvyām mahāgadā
80. And arrows adorned with peacock feathers plunged into his chest. From his hand, his great mace slipped and fell to the ground.
