वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-55, verse-39

पातिताश्च त्वया वीराः कृतं कर्म सुदुष्करम् ।
भक्षितानि च सैन्यानि प्राप्तं ते परमं यशः ॥३९॥
39. pātitāśca tvayā vīrāḥ kṛtaṃ karma suduṣkaram ,
bhakṣitāni ca sainyāni prāptaṃ te paramaṃ yaśaḥ.

39. You have struck down heroes and accomplished an exceedingly difficult deed (karma). Armies have also been consumed, and supreme glory has been attained by you.
