महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-326, verse-91

एवं लोका वदिष्यन्ति नरनारायणावृषी ।
उद्युक्तौ दहतः क्षत्रं लोककार्यार्थमीश्वरौ ॥९१॥
91. evaṁ lokā vadiṣyanti naranārāyaṇāvṛṣī ,
udyuktau dahataḥ kṣatraṁ lokakāryārthamīśvarau.
91. evam lokāḥ vadiṣyanti naranārāyaṇau ṛṣī
udyuktau dahataḥ kṣatram lokakāryārtham īśvarau

91. Thus, people will say that Nara and Nārāyaṇa, the two diligent sages and powerful lords, are consuming the warrior class for the sake of the world's work.
