महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-326, verse-26

सत्त्वं रजस्तमश्चैव गुणानेतान्प्रचक्षते ।
एते सर्वशरीरेषु तिष्ठन्ति विचरन्ति च ॥२६॥
26. sattvaṁ rajastamaścaiva guṇānetānpracakṣate ,
ete sarvaśarīreṣu tiṣṭhanti vicaranti ca.
26. sattvam rajas tamaḥ ca eva guṇān etān pracakṣate
ete sarvaśarīreṣu tiṣṭhanti vicaranti ca
26. sattvam rajas tamaḥ ca eva etān guṇān pracakṣate.
ete ca sarvaśarīreṣu tiṣṭhanti vicaranti ca
