महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-326, verse-9

वेदीं कमण्डलुं दर्भान्मणिरूपानथोपलान् ।
अजिनं दण्डकाष्ठं च ज्वलितं च हुताशनम् ।
धारयामास देवेशो हस्तैर्यज्ञपतिस्तदा ॥९॥
9. vedīṁ kamaṇḍaluṁ darbhānmaṇirūpānathopalān ,
ajinaṁ daṇḍakāṣṭhaṁ ca jvalitaṁ ca hutāśanam ,
dhārayāmāsa deveśo hastairyajñapatistadā.

9. Then, the lord of gods (deveśa), the master of Vedic rituals (yajñapati), held with his hands a Vedic altar (vedī), a water-pot (kamaṇḍalu), sacred grass (darbha), gem-like stones, a deer skin (ajina), a sacrificial stick (daṇḍakāṣṭha), and a blazing fire (hutāśana).
