महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-326, verse-29

खे वायुः प्रलयं याति मनस्याकाशमेव च ।
मनो हि परमं भूतं तदव्यक्ते प्रलीयते ॥२९॥
29. khe vāyuḥ pralayaṁ yāti manasyākāśameva ca ,
mano hi paramaṁ bhūtaṁ tadavyakte pralīyate.
29. khe vāyuḥ pralayam yāti manasi ākāśam eva ca
manaḥ hi paramam bhūtam tat avyakte pralīyate
29. Wind merges into space, and space, in turn, merges into the mind. The mind is indeed the supreme element (bhūta), and that then dissolves into the unmanifest (avyakta).
