महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-326, verse-57

मया सृष्टः पुरा ब्रह्मा मद्यज्ञमयजत्स्वयम् ।
ततस्तस्मै वरान्प्रीतो ददावहमनुत्तमान् ॥५७॥
57. mayā sṛṣṭaḥ purā brahmā madyajñamayajatsvayam ,
tatastasmai varānprīto dadāvahamanuttamān.

57. Brahma, who was created by me long ago, himself performed my Vedic ritual (yajña). Then, being pleased, I gave him unsurpassed boons.
