महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-13, verse-7

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
पार्थानामभिषङ्गेण तथा क्रुद्धं जनार्दनम् ।
अर्जुनः शमयामासा दिधक्षन्तमिव प्रजाः ॥७॥
7. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
pārthānāmabhiṣaṅgeṇa tathā kruddhaṁ janārdanam ,
arjunaḥ śamayāmāsā didhakṣantamiva prajāḥ.
7. Vaiśampāyana uvāca Pārthānām abhiṣaṅgeṇa tathā kruddham
Janārdanam Arjunaḥ śamayāmāsa didhakṣantam iva prajāḥ
7. Vaiśampāyana said: Then, Arjuna appeased Janārdana (Kṛṣṇa), who was so enraged by the offense against the Pārthas (Pāṇḍavas), as if He desired to burn all beings (prajāḥ).
