अर्जुनः शमयामासा दिधक्षन्तमिव प्रजाः ॥७॥

Vaiśampāyana said: Then, Arjuna appeased Janārdana (Kṛṣṇa), who was so enraged by the offense against the Pārthas (Pāṇḍavas), as if He desired to burn all beings (prajāḥ).
