महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-13, verse-63

नन्विमे शरणं प्राप्तान्न त्यजन्ति कदाचन ।
ते मां शरणमापन्नां नान्वपद्यन्त पाण्डवाः ॥६३॥
63. nanvime śaraṇaṁ prāptānna tyajanti kadācana ,
te māṁ śaraṇamāpannāṁ nānvapadyanta pāṇḍavāḥ.
63. nanu ime śaraṇam prāptān na tyajanti kadācana
te mām śaraṇam āpannām na anvapadyanta pāṇḍavāḥ
63. Indeed, (people) never abandon those who have sought refuge. Yet, those Pāṇḍavas did not come to my aid, even though I had sought refuge (in them).
