महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-13, verse-56

दासीभावेन भोक्तुं मामीषुस्ते मधुसूदन ।
जीवत्सु पाण्डुपुत्रेषु पाञ्चालेष्वथ वृष्णिषु ॥५६॥
56. dāsībhāvena bhoktuṁ māmīṣuste madhusūdana ,
jīvatsu pāṇḍuputreṣu pāñcāleṣvatha vṛṣṇiṣu.
56. dāsībhāvena bhoktum mām īṣuḥ te madhusūdana
jīvatsu pāṇḍuputreṣu pāñcāleṣu atha vṛṣṇiṣu
56. O slayer of Madhu (Madhusūdana), they (the Dhārtarāṣṭras) desired to exploit me as a slave, even while the sons of Pāṇḍu, the Pāñcālas, and the Vṛṣṇis were still alive.
