मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-51, verse-96

क्रोधं जनयते यस्तु तमः प्रच्छादकस्तु सः ।
स्वयंहार्यास्तु चौर्येण जनितन्तनयत्रयम् ॥९६॥
96. krodhaṃ janayate yastu tamaḥ pracchādakastu saḥ .
svayaṃhāryāstu cauryeṇa janitantanayatrayam.
96. krodham janayate yaḥ tu tamaḥ pracchādakaḥ tu saḥ
svayam hāryāḥ tu cauryeṇa janitam tanayatrayam
96. He who generates anger is indeed a concealer of spiritual darkness (tamas). Moreover, there are self-plunderers, and a trio of offspring generated by theft (caurya) also exists.
