मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-51, verse-81

शस्यर्धिं स सदा हन्ति लब्ध्वा रन्ध्रं शृणुष्व तत् ।
अमङ्गल्यदिनारम्भे अतृप्तो वपते च यः ॥८१॥
81. śasyardhiṃ sa sadā hanti labdhvā randhraṃ śṛṇuṣva tat .
amaṅgalyadinārambhe atṛpto vapate ca yaḥ.
81. śasyardhim sa sadā hanti labdhvā randhram śṛṇuṣva
tat | amaṅgalyadinārambhe atṛptaḥ vapate ca yaḥ
81. He (Kṣudraka) always destroys the prosperity of crops, having found a weak point. Listen to this: and he, unsatisfied, sows [destruction] at the beginning of inauspicious days.
