मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-51, verse-110

क्षुधाविष्टास्ततो लीकास्ताश्च चण्डालयोनयः ।
अभ्यधावन्त चान्योन्यमत्तुकामाः परस्परम् ॥११०॥
110. kṣudhāviṣṭāstato līkāstāśca caṇḍālayonayaḥ .
abhyadhāvanta cānyonyamattukāmāḥ parasparam.

abhyadhāvanta ca anyonyam attukāmāḥ parasparam
110. Then the lice, tormented by hunger, and those [creatures] of outcaste origin, rushed towards one another, desiring to devour each other.
