जायन्ते मोहनात्तस्याः सर्पमण्डूककच्छपाः ॥७७॥

praviśya garbham atti ekaḥ bhuktvā mohayate aparā

77.
One (such a son), having entered the womb, causes the destruction of the embryo. Another (such a daughter), having enjoyed (life), causes delusion. From the deluding influence of such a daughter, snakes, frogs, and turtles are born.
