In a lying-in chamber (sūtikāgṛha) that is devoid of fire and water, and likewise without proper fumigation or incense, and which lacks a lamp, a weapon, or a pestle, and is furthermore deprived of sacred ash (bhūti) and mustard seeds (sarṣapa).
