मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-51, verse-45

स्मृतिञ्चापहरत्यन्या स्त्रीणां सा स्मृतिहारिका ।
विविक्तदेशसेवित्वात्तस्याश्चोपशमो भवेत् ॥४५॥
45. smṛtiñcāpaharatyanyā strīṇāṃ sā smṛtihārikā .
viviktadeśasevitvāttasyāścopaśamo bhavet.
45. smṛtim ca apaharati anyā strīṇām sā smṛtihārikā
viviktadeśasevitvāt tasyāḥ ca upaśamaḥ bhavet
45. Another (ailment) also takes away the memory (smṛti) of women; that (ailment) is called `smṛtihārikā` (the remover of memory). And its alleviation may occur through resorting to secluded places.
