मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-51, verse-17

शुभाशुभञ्च शकुनिः कुमारोऽन्यो ब्रवीति वै ।
तत्रापि दुष्टे व्याक्षेपः प्रारम्भत्याग एव च ॥१७॥
17. śubhāśubhañca śakuniḥ kumāro'nyo bravīti vai .
tatrāpi duṣṭe vyākṣepaḥ prārambhatyāga eva ca.
17. śubhāśubham ca śakuniḥ kumāraḥ anyaḥ bravīti vai
tatra api duṣṭe vyākṣepaḥ prārambhatyāgaḥ eva ca
17. A bird (śakuni) indicates what is auspicious or inauspicious, and another young boy also declares [it]. Even in that [situation], if it is evil, there is distraction and indeed the abandonment of the undertaking.
