मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-51, verse-107

सा जातहारिणी नाम सुघोरा पिशिताशना ।
तस्मात् संरक्षणं कार्यं यत्नतः सूतिकागृहे ॥१०७॥
107. sā jātahāriṇī nāma sughorā piśitāśanā .
tasmāt saṃrakṣaṇaṃ kāryaṃ yatnataḥ sūtikāgṛhe.

107. She is named Jātahāriṇī, the very dreadful flesh-eater. Therefore, protection must be diligently carried out in the lying-in room.
