मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-51, verse-7

एतासां कर्म वक्ष्यामि दोषप्रशमनञ्च यत् ।
अष्टानाञ्च कुमाराणां श्रुयतां द्विजसत्तम ॥७॥
7. etāsāṃ karma vakṣyāmi doṣapraśamanañca yat .
aṣṭānāñca kumārāṇāṃ śruyatāṃ dvijasattama.
7. etāsām karma vakṣyāmi doṣapraśamanam ca yat
aṣṭānām ca kumārāṇām śruyatām dvijasattama
7. I will now explain the actions of these [daughters], as well as the pacification of their flaws, and also [the actions] of the eight sons. Listen, O best among the twice-born (dvijasattama)!
