मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-51, verse-10

सुवार्च्चलौषधीस्नानात्तथा सच्छास्त्रकीर्तनात् ।
उष्ट्रकण्टकखड्गास्थि-क्षौमवस्त्रविधारणात् ॥१०॥

10. It (pacification) is achieved by bathing with suvarcalā herbs, and also by reciting good scriptures, and by wearing garments made of camel thorn, rhinoceros bone, and silk.
